So Weird..

Hello there! Nice to catch-up with you again! 😊

Today I'd like to discuss with you something that caught my attention and got me thinking as somebody said to me that "Weird is good, and weird people are actually gifted people."

This first of all made me think of the renowned personalities that are such a huge inspiration to so many. What I found common among all of them was the fact that they all have..

  1. Dared to be other than how the society expects/expected them to be 
  2. Accepted and respected themselves for who they are/were
  3. Been on the Road To Excellence to be their best selves
  4. And finally, been accepted and looked upon by others with respect!
Interestingly, Mahatma Gandhi had something similar to say..


To continue.. I then got thinking more about the 'words' that had been said to me and what came to my mind was that this probably is a mere perspective that our thinking is clouded by! Don't you think that how you define weirdness is actually subjective? .. Especially since the word 'weird' simply means 'abnormal or unusual' ?

So anything that doesn't conform to how your mind is used to thinking would seem weird right?

Also, if we simply start seeing our problems as weird/unnatural situations, we can enjoy dealing with them and life can be fun .. So, Be You and Own It, what say?


In the end, the thought I'd like to leave you with today.. Sanity doesn't exist. Some people hide it better; I don't. 😉

  2. Normal is boring. Wierd people take their chances and that pushes them to do things that are not normal to "not-so-wierd" people. Most wierd people don't know that they are wierd... Which is a blessing.

    Not letting yourself be swayed with wrong emotions is very critical.
    A very important relationship, which very few people realise is the relationship between our thinking and our feelings. Forgetting that we are always thinking can cause many problems like unhappiness, anger, stress, etc. Making yourself aware that these negative feelings are because of our thinking can help remove these feelings and leave us more peaceful & Happy.
