Think <-> Feel

So.. a comment on my previous post reminded me of the thought above. When I came across this thought for the first time, my mind simply said.. "How?"

This sounded like something that was much easier to say than actually to practice and just another piece of gyaan; but what caught my attention firstly was that this was apparently said by Lord Buddha! I thus, decided to read it again word by word, and started seeing..

What I am today is because of what I have done, and I have done whatever I have, based on my beliefs only.. and I believe what I have (my mind has) thought, based on.. what I have seen, come across, learnt or been taught only!

What if there was something beyond this? After all, there was a time when everyone believed that the world was flat, right?!

I read the quote again and asked myself that if the validity of facts can be influenced by our own thinking, then maybe even how we feel can be impacted by our thinking.. So I thought of several stories I knew about (those of others, my own or even movies!) and realized that the outcome was always in accordance with the belief with which the actions had been performed !

And by outcome, I mean the end result after one gives up trying.. which is when (s)he gives up believing .. and this happens when one gives up thinking !

So it's all inter-connected . Crazy right?! 😉

But think about it.. You believe you can do it, so your mind pictures it, your mind starts thinking of how it can be done and then you just do it! What say?

    Absolutely Crazy but True. The sequence is that we feel Happy when our thoughts are positive and we feel unhappy when our thoughts are negative.
