The Hands

You might have guessed from the title that this post is a continuation of my post called The Hands Of Fate (https://beyonddobvious.blogspot.com/2018/06/the-hands-of-fate.html)

Today I'd like to share with you what I recently wrote on reading the poem I had written years ago..

(Recommend you read the first part again by clicking the link above, before moving on to the next part below!)

The Hands

Nothing to be seen, nothing to be heard,
I felt myself in vacuum
All sensations began to fade,
And bewilderment began to loom

I kept my hands over my heart,
And hearing my heartbeat, I sighed
I realized there still was hope,
Thus, on my hands I relied

I felt my way ahead with my hands,
And moved on, believing in me
My own hands became my eyes,
And with them I could see

It then dawned upon me that I had all that was needed,
The Hands were mine, and there was really no fixed course
Rather it was mine to make how I want to,
‘Cuz my will, nobody else can force

This brought a smile to my face,
And a sparkle to my eye
For everything suddenly seemed all clear,
And there was nothing left to Try
