If the title seems technical to you, relax! Am just referring to the Three tenses of the English language... Past, Present & Future! π
But, what are you tensed about right now?
I often see people around me remembering the old times and wishing for time to be the same again; and also people constantly fretting about the future, and then I wonder to myself.. What's the point of living like this...?
'Cause the way I see it, Que sera sera (whatever will be, will be) anyway. So why let anything stop you from living freely right now?!
[Gosh! there are so many songs flooding my head right now! π]
Anyway, I get that you must have in most likelihood heard somebody say this same thing to you earlier also, but usko kya pata [what does (s)he know] right?
I don't know whether you also believe this or not, but are we all not "essentially" the same?
I think that where we differ is only in terms of the micro (individual) situations we face, and secondly, our perspectives (as our past experiences determine how we view and face different situations) .. What do you think??
P.S. This pic (see below) I just came across, reminded me of a scene from the Bollywood movie, Rang De Basanti..
Our current situation at large.. "If you have one leg in the past, and the other in the future, then you'll obviously only be peeing in the present, right"?! π
[DISCLAIMER: Just quoting a translated dialogue from a movie that I find entertaining and thought provoking!]

ReplyDeleteRight you are. Not so very easy, however got to always be calm and stay in the PRESENT.
Yup . Sometimes my mind also says "but that's not easy" ; thankfully this is followed by the thought .. "But then who said it would be?!" ☺️
