Hi again! The comment of the Unknown Reader made me think.. As a human being, we all have a brain, which implies we all think and have a perspective (Even if it is simply agreeing with another's perspective!)
As a Management student I think, aren't we all simply consumers of thoughts?
And if this is so, this implies there are influencers too (which are obviously different for different people).
So is there truly any right and wrong? Or is it just a matter of perception and perspective?

True. No idea is unabashedly your own. Nothing at all. It's maybe not meant to be. Humanity has inculcated ideas for ages to pass on as information. We've learnt from them. We'll always try to learn more. Right is probably what makes most people happy. A majority sufficed is probably the Right. A majority in distress is probably the Wrong? Intense thought though.
ReplyDeletevery interesting!
DeleteI sometimes think.. what if we were told from our birth that things like stealing were good ... would that make it right?!
Yes I agree. But what you are endorsing or imbibing, that is important. It may change the course. There is probably no right or wrong way. But there are ways which will lead to perticular set of events and one result. You may or may not have wished but you chose. Problem arises when the outcome is not the desired one. Can we say then OK this is what I chose. This is not I want. Let me chose another path and see. Or is there any way I can convert this in something which can give me power. I don't know. May be this is a path can worth trekking.
ReplyDeleteInteresting thought again .. thanks!
DeleteMakes me wonder if we should go back a step further and question the intent ... but then, wouldn't it be subjective?
We create our own reality. Our thoughts are our reality. If we have a certain perspective about something, we classify it as right or wrong on the basis of beliefs we have accepted in this lifetime due to words/conversations we have had with family and/or society.
ReplyDeleteExample: your family says, it's not right to score less than 70% in school, else you're not intelligent or something on those lines.
Now if we don't score that. We think we are weak, not sharp, and doing something wrong.
But really..who defined that?
If we just change the definition and just BE. Then everything is right. Because whatever happens is for a reason and is always the right thing.
That sounds about right!
DeleteI remember talking to a friend once who said that if we were taught from the very beginning that stealing is a good thing, wouldn't we grow up thinking so?!
