So the comment on my previous post made me think.. Who really has the power? Where does it come from?
Yea you'd probably be thinking that now I'll say the cliched line that the "Power lies within you".
And you’d probably argue that if you really had all the power then why don’t you have all that you want and why are you not the happiest person in the world?!
Fair enough, but one question I have for you… Have you ever really felt that power?! If you have, then am sure you must have even been scared of yourself!
If not, then my friend, sorry to inform you but I think you are running after something you don’t even know!
Have you ever thought that the simplest way of giving away your power is by blaming someone else?!
How many times have you said that XYZ would or would not have happened if (s)he had acted in a certain way or things had been different?!
Hope you realize that what you’re doing here is giving away the power to someone else to affect you!
I think that’s precisely why they say that you become mature when you start taking more responsibilities because that is when you are more in control!
Hey it’s your life! We don’t even really know what happens after death… so let’s make the most of what we have right?!
But my point here is that when we don’t know what’ll happen after life but we have the power, then why not only do good and “be the change you want to see” as our beloved Gandhiji had said?!
(You’d have more questions on my last thought I suppose, but that’s for next time now!)

This is profound- and very true. If we don’t take ownership for our decisions, how can we claim to have the power?
